Device for recovering then restoring the braking energy, mainly in a mechanical manner, of land vehicles with an engine. Energy is stored during braking: brake pedal PF which entrains the tension of a spring "16" according to the principle of self-winding watch springs, that is to say free in the barrel "L" for a preset tension. Energy is restored, as well as stored, by the claw system 11, 12, 13, 14 and the movements F1 or A1. Energy is stored and restored with the aid of an additional attacking pinion PAS in the differential. The acceleration pedal PA causes starting-up or helps with starting-up by freeing the spring after, or partly simultaneously with, the normal acceleration of the engine. <IMAGE> |
