PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency/line waveguide converter having high conversion efficiency and small variation in conversion characteristics, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The high-frequency/line waveguide converter comprises: a metallic base 13 including a through-hole; a substrate which includes a high-frequency line on which a high-frequency signal is transmitted and a slot electromagnetically coupled to the high-frequency line and is bonded onto a top surface of the base by closing the through-hole; and a waveguide 6 bonded onto a bottom surface of the base so as to communicate with the through-hole.
