PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat display device whose thickness is thinned without reducing the structure strength of the whole device. SOLUTION: A light guide plate 21 formed by a reinforced glass plate composing a double sided emission irradiation panel 2 is integrally installed in a depth direction intermediate part of a frame case 1 forming a rectangular frame by insert molding, an optical sheet laminate 23 is arranged in the front 211 of the light guide plate 21, a main liquid crystal display panel 3 is arranged oppositely to the optical sheet laminate 23, a translucent reflection sheet 24 is attached oppositely to a rear face 212 of the light guide plate 21, and a sub liquid crystal display panel 4 is arranged oppositely to the sheet 24.
