PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen simulating a pipe having a reduced thickness, to be used for testing for specifying the relation between the progressing state of the wastage of the pipe wall thickness and the vibration generated in the pipe. SOLUTION: The specimen 1 simulating the pipe having the reduced thickness is composed of: a pair of pipes 10 having approximately the same diameter; and a simulated pipe 11 wherein at least a part of the internal diameter is larger than that of the pipes 10 interposed between the pair of pipes 10.
