PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing hardly generating a retainer noise even when an inner ring is high speed-rotated at a rotation speed of several tens-thousands revolution. SOLUTION: An outer peripheral cylinder surface positioned at the outermost side in a radial direction of a first annular part 14 of the retainer 4 is guided by an inner peripheral cylinder surface 4b of one track shoulder part of the outer ring 4, and an outer peripheral cylinder surface positioned at the outermost side in a radial direction of a second annular part 15 of the retainer 4 is guided by an inner peripheral cylinder surface 4b of the other track shoulder part of the outer ring 4. Axial length of the outer peripheral cylinder surface of the first annular part 14 is set 8.2% or less of a diameter of the ball 6, and axial length of the outer peripheral cylinder surface of the first annular part 15 is set 8.2% or less of the diameter of the ball 6.
