PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper wire connecting member easy to materialize miniaturization while securing tension length of stopper wire. SOLUTION: The stopper wire connecting member 4 is provided with: an attachment part 5A to a stopper object member 1 hung from a hanging section of a structure body; a tension operation part materializing a tension state of the stopper wire W by tensing another end side of the stopper wire W of which one side end is connected to a section different from a hanging section of the structure body under a condition where the stopper object member 1 is attached to the attachment part 5A; and a wire retention part 5B retaining the stopper wire in a tension state materialized by the tension operation part. The tension operation part is composed of: an engagement retention part 6e retaining engagement of the tension operation part with the stopper wire W at least during tension operation; and an operation part 6A moving the engagement retention part 6e to a wire tension side in a direction crossing a wire erection direction.
