PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive heat generating cap for warming the hair or scalp so as to generate uniform or desired temperature distribution, and reducing a load on a treated person. SOLUTION: In the heat generating cap 1 covering a human head for warming the hair or scalp when used, nichrome wires 4 generating heat by power distribution from a control box 10 are stretched at spaced intervals to form a part for covering a head portion. Therefore, the amount of nichrome wires 4 used is suppressed, and the weight and cost of the heat generating cap 1 are reduced. Further, the nichrome wires 4 are provided independently for every part of the head and structured so as to be individually energized, so that the nichrome wire 4 generates heat at a desired temperature, and thus, the hair or scalp can be warmed at a desired temperature (e.g. uniform warming).
