PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storing chamber which prevents a worker or the like from getting burnt by doors opened in a heated state when hot meals are provided by heating freezed or refrigerated food. SOLUTION: The food storing chamber has a storing chamber for storing the food, a heating means 2 for heating inside the storing chamber, the opening/closing doors for opening or closing the storing chamber, a locking means 4 for locking or unlocking the opening/closing doors, and a control part 5 for controlling operation of the heating means 2 and the locking means 4 by receiving an instruction input from the outside. The control part 5 performs automatic locking control so as to lock the opening/closing doors by operating the locking means 4 linked with the heating means 2 that starts to heat the storing chamber. Thereby, it is possible to prevent accidental opening of the doors when the inside of the storing chamber heated at a high temperature, and to prevent the worker or the like from getting burnt by the high-temperature air blown off or by touching the inside of the chamber which is at a high-temperature.
