PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for packaging that can be held in a folded-in-half condition when a flap portion is folded in either direction, and can fold the flap portion with a smaller force, and can be used by any person. SOLUTION: The packaging container 1 has right and left standing plates 4a and 4b provided to be stood between a bottom plate 2 and a top plate 3. Along the central line in the width direction passing through the bottom plate 2 and the top plate 3, a folding line 21 is provided to the bottom plate 2, and a zipper 31 is provided to the top plate 3, respectively. The container 1 can be symmetrically folded in half, the left and right, along the folding line 21, by breaking the zipper 31. The bottom plate 2 has a pair of cutting lines 61a and 61b that are intersecting with the folding line 21 and approach toward each other as it departing from the folding line 21. The container 1 is folded half along the folding line, and a flap portion 73, which lies within the pair of cutting line, is folded to either direction to hold the container in the folded-in-half condition.
