PURPOSE:To obtain a CMOS differential amplifier independently of the individual characteristic of transistors (TRs) by using a reference common-mode signal so as to control an common-mode signal component produced in differential output pairs. CONSTITUTION:A differential transformer impedance amplifier A3 comprising the 1st conduction type TRs Q11, Q12 and the 2nd conduction type TRs Q9, Q10 is provided with resistors R0, R1 connected in series between differential output signal lines 40 and 41. An common-mode signal output 20 in response to an common-mode signal component produced at the differential output signal lines 40, 41 is formed at a series connecting point of the resistors 40 and 41. An error detection amplifier A4 comprising the 1st conduction type TRs Q16, Q17 and the 2nd conduction type TRs Q13-Q15 amplifies an error between the output 20 and a reference common-mode signal VREF to generate an error signal 30. Then the signal 30 is fed to an operating bias adjusting means Q0 of the differential transformer conductance amplifier A1 and the common-mode signal component produced at output pairs OP, ON of the differential transformer impedance amplifier A2 is controlled by the signal VREF. |
