PURPOSE:To facilitate stepless adjustment of the space and to improve accuracy by engaging a rotary member and a motor output shaft and setting a space between the rotary member and a stationary member as desired through spacers removably held therebetween for adjustment of the space. CONSTITUTION:A rotary member 23 and an output shaft 21 are provided with respective engaging elements 22, 24 cooperating to provide threading engagement or close fit so as to set a space between the rotary member 23 and a stationary member 13 as desired. Spacers 33, 34 corresponding to a desired space are inserted between the rotary member 23 and the stationary member 13. With the spacers 33, 34 held between the rotary member 23 and the stationary member 13, the rotary member 23 is advanced along the output shaft 21, and then the spacers 33, 34 are pulled out. Thus constructed, mounting of the rotary member 23 to the output shaft 21 and adjustment of the space between the rotary member 23 and the stationary member 13 can be simultaneously and automatically achieved. Furthermore, continuous stepless adjustment of the space is facilitated and adjusting accuracy can be improved.
