An adjustment device has armature unit in housing (10) and movable against a restoring force of a return spring, and in which a coil device is assigned to a contact plug device (14,16) arranged in an insulator unit (12) and an extended earthing contact (16) is electrically conductingly joined to the housing. The earthing contact electrically conductingly functions together with a yoke section (22) so that a recess formed in the working end of the earthing contact partly surrounds a salience of the yoke section.
