RESIN COMPOSITION FOR HALOGEN FREE SHEATH AND CABLE JACKETING COMPRISING THE SAME

A resin composition for a halogen-free sheath for electric wires is provided to improve resistance against thermal deformation at high temperature and tear resistance, and to avoid the use of a halogen-containing resin. A resin composition for a halogen-free sheath for electric wires comprises: 100 parts by weight of a base resin comprising 100 parts by weight of an ethylene copolymer, and 5-60 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin, ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer and a mixture thereof; 60-210 parts by weight of a flame retardant; and 1-20 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent.
