A system for constructing a customized patent information database is provided to enable a user to check technical contents and claims of a desired patent easily by constructing the patent information database storing bibliographic information and raw documents of the patents corresponding to an interested field. A system includes a patent information worksheet database(140) storing/managing basic information such as an application number, a patent type, a title, date, and registration of patents searched by a user in an Excel worksheet, a PDF(Portable Document Format) document database(145), a bibliographic information database(150), an abstract database(155), a claim information database(160) and a technical class information database(165). The system includes a screen provider(105), a searcher(110) performing search in each database by using a search condition received from the user, a patent information obtainer(115), a PDF document reader(120), a detail information extractor(125), a technical tree generator(130), a patent information output unit(135), and a central controller(170). The detail information extractor extracts detail information of the patents stored in the PDF document database and provides the detail information to each database.
