<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake arm device capable of smoothly performing movement of a brake arm in all directions during braking of the brake arm flexible as to movement of wheels in all directions following a rail. <P>SOLUTION: In a disc brake device, one end part of the brake arm 2 turned and oscillated flexibly in all directions is oscillated and pressed via a cam mechanism 4 pivotally driven by an actuator 5, so as to press a brake pad 17 installed in the other end part against a disc rotor. Cylindrical rings 2J, 2J are rotatably arranged between the side face in the vicinity of one end part of the brake arm 2 and orthogonal to the oscillating direction and a housing 1B. Due to this arrangement, during braking, when the brake arm 2 is moved to the braking direction by braking torque while receiving turning force due to braking friction force, the brake arm 2 can be smoothly moved and thus, efficiency loss can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
