<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of easily connecting printed-circuit boards mutually arranged in parallel and capable of connecting excellently even the printed-circuit boards shifted from a prescribed position relation. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 10 is constituted of a pair of sockets 11 mounted on two printed-circuit boards P1, P2 and a connecting member 12 to be connected to each socket 11. A first and a second board contacts 16 are installed on the sockets 11 and the connecting members 12 are composed of a pair of holders 17 to be connected to the socket 11 and a plurality of a first and a second connecting contacts 18, 19 to be held between these holders 17. Each holder 17 is joined to the socket 11 in thickness direction of the printed-circuit boards P1, P2.
