<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion plate of a liquid crystal display using a direct back light that can prevent luminance degrading and completely eliminate visible lamp variance. <P>SOLUTION: This is a diffusion plate mounted in a direct backlight type liquid crystal display which has a reflector plate, linear light sources, a diffusion plate, an optical film, and a liquid crystal panel, all arranged in this order. This diffusion plate has linear prism shapes each having a peak angle of 50-150°on the surface in contact with the optical film and fine asperities of 0.2-20 μm roughness (Ra) on its surface facing the linear light sources. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
