PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a container which enables the joint of a housing and a header together by an ultrasonic welding method, raises no possibility of leaking a molten resin from a gap part on the surface of the container between the housing and the header, and makes appearance and secondary processability excellent by a simple method which has not been conventionally found. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the container by which a cylindrical housing at least one end of which is opened is welded with a header having a nozzle through which a liquid can flow in and out by ultrasonic vibration, the ultrasonic welding is performed by bringing a horn for oscillating ultrasonic vibration into contact with the gap part so as to close the gap part between the housing and the header on the surface of the container.
