PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music reproduction controller which selects and reproduces music data of a key not only matching an indicated music tempo, but also suitable to an exercise stage of a user and variation in exercise pace. SOLUTION: A plurality of music data together with values of music tempos and key evaluation parameters thereof are stored in a data storage part 2. A music tempo and key indication part 6 indicate a value of a music tempo and a value of a key evaluation parameter corresponding to the current exercise state. When the values of the music tempo and key evaluation parameter are indicated, a reproduction control 7 selects music data which has nearly the same music tempo as the indicated music tempo and a key evaluation parameter having nearly the same value as the indicated key evaluation parameter out of the plurality of music data stored in the data storage part 2, and makes a music data reproduction part 8 reproduce the data.
