PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music reproduction controller which holds music data in waveform data format and playing data format and reproduces one of them preferentially. SOLUTION: When a music tempo and key indication unit 6 indicates a music temp and music data in waveform data format having a music tempo having nearly the same value as the indicated music tempo is available among a plurality of music data stored in the data storage unit 2, a reproduction control unit 7 selects the music data, but when such music data in waveform data format is not available, music data are selected from the plurality of music data stored in the data storage unit 2 on the selection condition that music data in playing data format having a music tempo having nearly the same value as the indicated music tempo is selected, thereby making a music data reproduction unit 8 reproduce the data.
