PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an object desired by a user on an initial screen in a folding type mobile phone with which he does not need to care another person may who watch the initial screen so much unlike a straight type telephone device that is not a folding type. SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: an opening/closing detection section 17 for detecting whether the device is open or closed; and a control circuit 11 for displaying a registered initial screen when the opening/closing detection section 17 detects that the device is open after being closed.
