PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform a plurality of successive image processes. SOLUTION: A composite LUT for collectively performing conversions by conversion profiles TFP1 to TFP6 except for a conversion profile TFP7 which can not be converted into an LUT, is generated. During the process, intermediate profiles MTFP1 and MTFP2 for converting intermediate data obtained by a conversion by the final conversion profile TFP6 to such a data format that they can be input to the conversion profile TFP7 to be performed right after the conversion are also put together with the composite LUT as well. Consequently, a processing for converting the data to the data format for input to the conversion profile TFP7 need not be specially performed in the conversion phase. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
