PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin shape television capable of simplifying a speaker assembly process and reducing costs in simple configuration. SOLUTION: In a thin shape television 1, a cabinet 2 is provided which houses inside an image display section 3 and a speaker 4 and the cabinet 2 is formed from a front cabinet 21 and a rear cabinet 22. A speaker 4 includes a speaker frame 42 provided with a positioning hole 42a and on an inner surface of the front cabinet 21, a positioning rib 6 is provided with which the positioning hole 42a of the speaker frame 42 is fitted. On an inner surface of the rear cabinet 22 facing the positioning rib 6, a pressing rib 7 is provided which is abutted to the speaker frame 42 and presses the relevant speaker frame 42 to a side of the front cabinet 21, and the speaker 4 is held between the front cabinet 21 and the rear cabinet 22.
