PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DA converter with redundant bits and less noise, and whose circuit size is small. SOLUTION: A digital-analog converter with redundant bits which is provided with a first input terminal and a second input terminal, and outputs a reference voltage obtained by quantizing a difference between a voltage input to the first input terminal +ΔV and a voltage input to the second input terminal -ΔV with n+1/2<SP>q</SP>bits (n is a natural number of 3 or more, and q is a natural number of n-2 or less). It is composed of a q+1+1/2<SP>q</SP>bit resistor string type DA converter comprising k (k=2<SP>(q+1)</SP>+2) resistance elements, an n-q-1 bit binary control type digital-analog converter, and a decoder including a logic circuit with k k/2 inputs.
