PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling-off of an end part of a spring, while improving installation performance of the end part of the torsion coil spring to a spring installing member. SOLUTION: This throttle device has a throttle body 10 having an intake passage 11, a throttle valve 16 opening-closing the intake passage 11, a control motor for opening-closing a throttle shaft 13, a throttle gear 23 fixed to the throttle shaft 13, an opener 34 rotatably arranged on the throttle shaft 13, a back spring 38 interposed between the throttle body 10 and the opener 34, an opener opening setting stopper 40 arranged in the throttle body 10, and a relief spring 36 interposed between the throttle gear 23 and the opener 34. The opener 34 is provided with a locking groove part 55 locking the end part 36a bent inside in the radial direction of a coil part 36c of the relief spring 36. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
