PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine ignition control device for greatly reducing exhaust emission for greatly improving heat efficiency. SOLUTION: The engine ignition control device comprises a radical producing means 11 for producing radicals in a combustion chamber 21. Herein, during operation in a radical producing operation region, the radicals are produced in the combustion chamber 21 and then mixture is ignited. A radical control means 70 controls the radicals to be produced by the radical producing means 11 in accordance with an engine operated condition during operation in the radical producing operation region.
