PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing plate for a folded plate hanger of a simple configuration which enables the bending adjustment of a hanging rod to be simply securely carried out. SOLUTION: The reinforcing plate A is provided with an eaves hanger T 3 with a lug holding part T2 at the lower end of the hanging rod T1 and is used for the folded plate hanger T which allows the upper end of the hanging rod T1 to be passed through a folded plate roof Y or the like and fixed. The reinforcing plate A comprises a pair of plates 1, 1 which are overlapped with each other and a fixing member 2 for fixing the pair of the overlapped plates 1, 1. The plates 1, 1 have mounting holes 11 for allowing the fixing members 2 to pass through and has an abutting piece 12 which abuts on the rear surface of the folded plate roof Y or the like at the upper end. In a nearly center part of the plates 1, 1, a through groove 13 which is swelled outward and communicates over the upper and lower ends is formed.
