PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-scale long-period wave reducing structure capable of suitably dissipating a long-period wave. SOLUTION: A pair of training walls 20, which is arranged in such a V-shape that a sea side is widened, is provided; an overflow section, which is formed in such a shape that the V-shaped backside is inclined lower backward, is provided at an upper edge between the training walls 20 and 20; a retarding section 15 is provided on the side of the back surface of the training wall 20; and an outflow port 14a, which allows water making an entry into the inside to gradually flow out, is provided in the retarding section 15. Thus, when waves lap from the sea side, they enter the retarding section 15 over the overflow section, so as to be gradually discharged to the sea aside from the outflow port 14a.
