PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence which enables a furring strip to be installed in parallel with a coping to be matched to the tilting angle of the coping without adjusting the length of the furring strip when installing on a slope the fence that has the coping positioned right over a support and the furring strip installed between the supports. SOLUTION: The fence is formed by installing the coping 3 in parallel with the furring strip 4 on the parallelly erected supports 2. The coping 3 is arranged right over the support 2, and the upper end of the support 2 and the coping 3 are pivotably connected with each other through a connecting shaft 6, and the furring strip 4 is arranged between the side surface parts of the supports 2 which are adjacently oppositely arranged. A furring strip connecting bracket 5 is vertically adjustably installed on the side surface of the support 2, and the end part of the furring strip 4 and the furring strip connecting bracket 5 are pivotably connected with each other through a connecting shaft 8, and the connecting shaft 8 is passed through a slot hole 52 which is formed either at the end part of the furring strip 4 or at the furring strip connecting bracket 5.
