PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple building capable of draining rainwater securely and satisfactorily irrespective of a position of a movable roof. SOLUTION: This simple building is provided with a fixed roof 2 constructed among one set of beams 1a and 1b and inner sides of the beams and the movable roof 3 mounted on upper faces of both beams and movable from a side position of the fixed roof to an upper position of the fixed roof along the longitudinal direction of the beams. This fixed roof 2 enables rainwater to drain downward through a rain gutter 12 provided in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the beam 1a, which has a rain gutter 4 along the longitudinal direction on an outer side. The movable roof 3 has a rain gutter 5 provided in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the beam 1a and a down pipe 6 for flowing the rainwater in the rain gutter 5 into the rain gutter 4 on the beam and drains the rainwater downward through the rain gutter 4 on the beam.
