WATER-ABSORBING POLYSTYRENIC RESIN FOAMED PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing polystyrenic resin foamed plate having further improved water absorbency. SOLUTION: The water-absorbing polystyrenic resin foamed plate is a polystyrenic resin laminated foamed plate formed by molding a polystyrenic resin foamed sheet containing an open cell foamed layer having≥60% open cell ratio and a closed cell foamed layer having≤30% open cell ratio. The water-absorbing polystyrenic resin foamed plate is characterized in that the water-absorbing polystyrenic resin foamed plate is formed by molding the open cell foamed layer at≥1.5 times of expansion ratio. The water-absorbing polystyrenic resin foamed plate can preferably be used as a water-absorbing material such as a water-absorbing rug or a dew condensation water-absorbing band of a windowpane.
