PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered powder improved with a tableting property and a bitter taste of a branched-chain amino acid powder. SOLUTION: The zein-covered branched-chain amino acid powder comprises a branched-chain amino acid powder (component A) of 67 to 95.9 mass% in which a particle of more than 500μm is 15 mass% or smaller and a particle of 106μm or smaller is 30 mass% or smaller, zein (componet B) of 4 to 25 mass%, and medium chain triglyceride (component C) of 0.1 to 8 mass%, wherein the powder is obtained by spraying to the component A with an ethanol aqueous solution containing the component B and the component C.
