PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head capable of making a liquid smoothly flow without making bubbles stay in a flow path, and to provide a liquid jet apparatus. SOLUTION: A tapered part TP is formed so that the cross-sectional area of the flow path to a fixed part with a nozzle plate 1 is gradually decreased in the flow direction of the liquid flowing in a communicating flow path 38. By forming the tapered part TP like this, even when the bubbles are mixed in the liquid flowing in the communicating flow path 38, they can be discharged with a high probability to the outside of the liquid jetting head 30 by a cleaning operation.
