PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a level difference of luminance due to uneven variations in a subarea in a radiographic imaging apparatus using a flat panel detector having a detection area divided into a plurality of subareas. SOLUTION: The radiographic imaging apparatus is equipped with a radiation generating part, a radiation detector which has a detecting element disposed in the detection area divided into the plurality of subareas for accumulating electric charges corresponding to an exposure dose of radiation and a plurality of reading circuits provided in each of the plurality of subareas for reading information on the electric charges accumulated in the detecting elements in respective subareas and outputs detecting signals by detecting the radiation which is generated by the radiation generating part, is transmitted through a subject, and enters a detection area, and a level difference correcting means for correcting the level difference generated on the boundaries of the plurality of subareas in the detecting signal outputted from the radiation detector based on the detecting signal obtained from a specified line in the plurality of subareas.
