PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of image data and to lighten the burden on interpretation of an X-ray. SOLUTION: A capsule endoscope 11 includes two imaging devices 33a and 33b on both ends at a front and a back. The capsule endoscope 11 receives by radio a control command for setting ratio (photographing duty ratio) of the number of photography times per unit time optimized in advance in accordance with a position relation with an area of interest and the total number of photography times summing up the number of photography times from a receiver 12. The capsule endoscope 11 reduces the number of photography times at a part away from the area of interest, increases the number of photography times in the area of interest according to the control command, and changes the number of photography times of imaging devices F and R for photographing the front and back in the advancing direction of the capsule endoscope.
