<p>A winch handle of the type used for a winch on a sail boat. The winch handle comprising a lug for engaging a socket disposed on the winch, a locking plate attached to the lug and rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the lug. A self-aligning guide is attached to or integral with the locking plate and comprising an engagement profile arranged for first engaging with the winch socket and then guiding the lug into an engagement with the winch socket regardless of the orientation of said locking plate with respect to said lug.</p> |
