The element (3) has a joint section (4) extending in an axial direction of a joint element and exhibits a groove arrangement on its conical outer circumference, where a displaced material of a component is loadable in the groove arrangement. A tapering cross section of the joint section is mirror symmetrical to a plane, which extends along an axial direction. The tapering cross section of the joint section is rotationally symmetric around a central axis (6) of the element, which extends in the axial direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a composite structure.
