<p>In a plant for handling metal bars (B), particularly bars for concrete reinforcement, including at least one magazine (1) for the bars, and a bar feeding unit which feeds the bars from the magazine (1) to an operating apparatus such as a bar measuring and cutting apparatus or a bar bending apparatus, a bundle of bars is deposited on a wall which is subjected to a vibratory movement, so that the bundle is disentangled and widened in order to subsequently provide for the bars to be automatically picked up and counted from the flattened bundle.</p> |
