A mascara composition comprising vegetable butter is provided to show soft applicability, excellent long lash and voluminous effect maintaining capability and provide uniform coating surface compared to a conventional mascara using a coating film or a fiber. A mascara composition comprises 0.5-20 wt.% of vegetable butter such as aloe butter, cocoa butter, shea butter, pistachio butter, avocado butter, mango butter, soy butter, almond butter, olive butter, wheat germ butter, cupuacu butter, jojoba butter, macadamia seed butter, apricot butter, grape seed butter, hemp butter, illipi butter, kokum butter, sal butter and carite butter. The composition further comprises 0.1-20 wt.% of wax. Further, a surface adhesive power of the butter is -50g to -500g. |
