A mobile terminal is provided to improve an external appearance by overcoming a problem that a step is formed by different colors on a display module. A display module(120) is installed in a terminal housing(110). A display window(121) is formed at the terminal housing and allows visual information outputted from the display module to be seen. Gradation is formed on the display window in order not to demarcate a region displaying the visual information and the other remaining region with a boundary. The gradation darkens toward edges of the display window. The display window includes a transmissive base cover and a printed layer printed on the surface of the base cover and forming the gradation. The display window is formed separately from the terminal housing, and the printed layer is formed to be printed on a lower surface of the base cover.
