PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to measure colors of existent printed matter that a user optionally prepares using a printer with a colorimetry section.

SOLUTION: Disclosed is a printing colorimetry controller capable of printing an image on a printing medium on the basis of predetermined image data and measuring colors of the image printed on the printing medium, and the printing colorimetry controller includes: a printing medium setting means of disposing a printing medium where an image as the object of colorimetry is printed at a predetermined form setting position; a determining means of determining the position when the colors of the object image of colorimetry are measured by the colorimetry section on the basis of the printing position of the object image of colorimetry on the printing medium; a conveying means of conveying the printing medium from the form setting position on the basis of the determined position, and a colorimetry control means of acquiring colorimetric values of the object image of colorimetry by making the colorimetry section measures the colors on the basis of the determined position.
