摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion monitor device constituted so as to monitor the corrosion tendency of an aqueous system rapidly, accurately and quantitatively and capable of determining whether the data of the corrosion monitor device are proper by visually determining whether corrosion is caused by the whole surface corrosion or local corrosion. SOLUTION: A column 1 is installed and the axial center direction of the column is installed so as to become vertical directions. A test fluid is introduced into the column 1 from the pipe joint 11 of the lower end member 2 of the column 1. The test fluid flows in the column 1 via the through-holes 10 and 7 in the diametric direction of the column 1, to come into contact with an extremely fine metal wire 4 and subsequently flows out to the outside of the column 1 through the through-hole 7 and through-hole in the radial directions of the upper end member of the column 1. In this corrosion monitor device, a visually observable peeping region 1b is provided to the column 1 and the corrosion state of the fine metal wire in the column 1 is observed to determine the whole surface corrosion or local corrosion.
