<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation system, a program and an information storage medium, for providing a variety of image expressions with less amount of data. <P>SOLUTION: An imaginary point prepared separately from an eye point of a virtual camera is set to arrange an object so that a direction determined by the imaginary point and the object and a direction of the object have a prescribed directional relation. The imaginary point is set in a notice point of the object and a position of the moving object followed by the virtual camera, and the imaginary point is moved based on a speed of the moving object. Different imaginary point is set for each object group. An image processing content of the object is changed based on a distance between the object and the imaginary point. An imaginary direction prepared separately from a sight line direction of the virtual camera is set to arrange the object so that the imaginary direction and the direction of the object have a prescribed directional relation.
