<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate application work for applying a potting-type insulator on an external peripheral surface, and to improve the insulation performance. <P>SOLUTION: This potting-type insulator comprises a central conductor 1 to which electricity is applied, an insulating layer 2 which is formed around the central conductor 1 having an interface connecting part to which a power cable 5, or the like, connected thereto; a grounding layer 3, formed on the external peripheral surface of the insulating layer 2 so as to surround an opening 2a to which the power cable 5, or the like is, connected; and a protective layer 4 formed on the surface of the grounding layer 3. The insulator is also such that the protective layer 4 is formed until the grounding layer as a whole is covered so that even the ends of the grounding layer 3 are covered by the protective layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
