<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a hybrid vehicle capable of ensuring regenerative braking force without giving sense of incongruity to a driver even when a motor generator and a stepped-type automatic transmission are provided. <P>SOLUTION: Separate motor generators are provided on front and rear wheels.
