<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle device capable of performing heat exchange with a lubricant in a differential body by a heat exchange device provided in the differential body and easily performing attachment/detachment work of the heat exchange device. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchange device 33 is made into a unit constitution provided with a radiator core 34; a flowing-in port 35a and a flowing out port 35b to/from the radiator core 34; a port plate 38 fixed to the differential body 2b in the liquid-tight state; a flowing-in port 40a and a flowing out port 40b of the port plate 38; and a coupler 39 for communicating the flowing-in port 35a with the flowing out port 35b. The heat exchange device 33 is detachably provided on the differential body 2b at a position on a side opposite to a bevel gear at a bottom part of the differential body 2b so as not to be interfered with the bevel gear (not shown) for taking-in rotation of a drive shaft to a differential. In the selection drawing indicating a cross sectional view on a bottom part side of the differential body 2b, an attachment/detachment direction of the heat exchange device 33 becomes a vertical direction of the drawing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
