PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound reproduction device and a sound reproduction method which can transmit/receive a voice with little noise. SOLUTION: A sound reproduction device 10 is provided which includes a communication portion which transmits/receives a signal, at least one sound output portion which outputs a sound based on a reception signal received by the communication portion, a pickup portion which picks up the sound and generates voice data, an echo canceller portion which stores an echo signal when the reception signal received by the communication portion includes the echo signal and generates a pseudo echo signal by using the echo signal stored, and a noise reduction portion which generates a denying signal which denies a noise by using the voice data when the noise emitted from a noise source is included in the sound picked up by the pickup portion and combines the output signal of the echo canceller portion and the denying signal to be outputted.
