<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide machining tool and method for a cylinder block capable of using existing equipment when imparting prescribed deformation to a cylinder bore in advance when finishing the cylinder bore, and enhancing production efficiency without accompanying increases of space, equipment and processes, etc. to cause the increase of manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: This machining tool is used when finishing the cylinder bore 3. The machining tool is provided with a tool main body 10 brought close to/away from a head mounting surface 2, a bolt member 16 forming a tapered hole part 20 by inside surfaces 21 of a plurality of bolt piece parts 18 formed with screw parts 19 engageable to a female screw part 8 of a head bolt hole 7 and expanded in diameter by a wedge action received via the tapered hole part 20, a tapered shaft member 17 inserted into the tapered hole part 20 and having a tapered surface part 22 to impart the wedge action, and a piston member 24 having a pressing surface 23 in contact with a prescribed surface part in the head mounting surface 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
