PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer parallel optical waveguide which has a plurality of cores and is small in transmission loss, crosstalk, and expansion of a pulse signal, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The polymer parallel optical waveguide that a plurality of cores, and a clad provided around a circumference of the cores, wherein the refraction index of the core is gradually lowered from the geometric center of gravity in cross section of the core to its circumference.
