PURPOSE:To enable lubricating oil to be supplied until an engine is completely stopped in the time of stopping the engine, by providing an accumulator to be interposed half way an oil path in which the lubricating oil is supplied from an engine driven oil pump to each lubrication part of the engine. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil, which is forced to be fed from an oil pump provided in a crankcase and filtered passing through an oil filter 7, is supplied to each bearing part 13a-13c of a crankshaft 3 via an oil path 12 provided in a crank chamber wall 11. While the lubricating oil is supplied to bearings 16a-16d in connecting rod big end parts via oil paths 15a, 15b formed in the crankshaft 3. Further the greater part of the oil, lubricating the bearing part 13a, is supplied to a bearing part of a cam shaft 4 passing through an oil path 17. Here a lubricating device provides a check valve 18, preventing the oil from its reverse flow to a side of the oil path 12, which connects an accumulator 20 through a branch path 19 to the side of the cam shaft 4 from said valve 18, in the half way of the oil path 17.
